What We Do

PDF Tools (pdf-vert.com) offers 9 free online PDF tools: PDF ↔ Word conversion, PDF ↔ JPG conversion, PDF to plain text, merge, compress, rotate, and split. Just open your browser and get started — no software to download, no account required. Available in 9 languages.

Who We Are

This site was built and is maintained by Roamer Tech, a web studio based in Taiwan, starting in 2026. We're a small team, and our motivation was simple: we kept getting frustrated by tools that demanded registration, capped conversions at two per day, or slapped watermarks on the output. So we built a version without any of that.

How Your Files Are Handled

All conversions are processed on our own servers using mature, open-source engines — LibreOffice, Ghostscript, and Poppler. Your files are never sent to any third-party API. Uploaded and output files are stored in a private directory that is not publicly accessible. Download links are signed and time-limited, and all files are automatically deleted by a scheduled job two hours after upload.

Our Commitments

• Privacy first: Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 2 hours. We don't store files or analyze their contents.
• Free tier that's actually useful: Core features are free forever — no watermarks, no forced sign-up.
• Clean interface: No pop-ups, no dark patterns, no fake buttons. Tracking cookies are off by default and only enabled with your consent.
• No hidden surprises: Limits are displayed right next to the upload area (25 MB per file, 5 conversions per tool per day). We'll never wait until after you upload to tell you something costs money.
